Kevin Taylor

President

Kevin has been a leading Puget Sound area real estate developer and investor for more than twenty years. Following his graduation from the Business School at Washington State University in 1993 Kevin returned to Seattle and founded Taylor Development. Kevin immediately excelled in the area of project specific plan analysis. This skill coupled with his core strength in the evaluation of markets immediately put Taylor Development on the path to success. Kevin's business integrity and resulting reputation, coupled with a remarkable ability to find opportunities, has been the key factor in TDI's steady growth and success. Kevin has extremely close working relationships with all of the Puget Sound area's leading development consultants, contractors, and builders. These relationships also include those on the financing and brokerage side of the industry. Kevin provides executive level oversight, and day-to-day input at every level, on all Taylor Development projects. Kevin is actively involved in all phases of assessment, acquisition, entitlement, construction, marketing, and sales.

President of The Taylor Group

Paul founded The Taylor Group in 1985 to oversee and manage the many construction related businesses he owns/operates; these businesses included Red-E Trucking and Red-E Topsoil in Redmond as well as Roof Truss Supply in Woodinville. The Taylor Group has worked closely with Taylor Development since its inception providing support in all capacities. Paul's contributions, including Principal level input and decision making along with key financial investment, have been and continue to be an essential element of Taylor Development's success. Born and raised in Kirkland, Paul graduated from Lake Washington High School in 1962. While majoring in Education and playing baseball at Washington State University, Paul met and married Karen Magnussen, herself a Lake Washington graduate and student at Washington State. After graduating from WSU in 1966 Paul stayed in Pullman and attended graduate school while coaching the baseball team through 1967. Upon his return to the Seattle area in 1968 Paul joined Cadman Gravel where he made his ascent to CEO and remained its key executive until the sale of the company in 1991. Paul's many accomplishments and contributions to the community through those years include: President of the State Association for Concrete and Sand and Gravel, President of the Redmond Chamber of Commerce, Redmond Park Board Member, Youth Sports Coach, Sunday School Teacher, sponsor of Taylor Baseball, and generous contributor to WSU.

Vice President of Land

Paul Taylor is our Vice President of Land with a background in Construction Management. As a graduate from Washington State University in 2023 with a degree in Business management. He possesses a solid educational foundation that complements his experience. Paul has developed a comprehensive skill set that encompasses strategic planning, site evaluation, due diligence, project coordination, and risk management. His practical experience in the construction management industry has equipped him with hands-on knowledge of the complexities of the field. He has successfully collaborated with stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards.

Preston Longoni
Vice President of Development

Preston began his career in 2013 as an Engineer-in-Training with a local consulting firm and earned his Professional Engineer license in 2017. Since then, he has managed residential development projects, building a strong foundation in technical consulting over the course of nine years. In 2022, he transitioned to a national homebuilder, where he gained valuable experience managing projects from the developer's perspective. Preston joined Taylor in 2025 and brings more than a decade of technical expertise in residential development. His background adds value from the earliest stages of site feasibility through the construction plan process. He is known for developing creative solutions, applying value engineering principles, and maintaining a strong focus on quality control—all with the goal of streamlining approvals and minimizing construction challenges.

Operations Coordinator

Tanya joined Taylor Development, Inc. in 2002. Starting out as the office manager, Tanya has grown and taken on many tasks and responsibilities over the years leading her to the position of Operations Coordinator today. She is responsible for and assists with a wide variety of tasks such as forming our new entities, preparing vendor contracts, managing our homeowner's associations, overseeing the insurance policies of the company and the family, and coordinating our company medical and dental benefits. Her historical project knowledge and time spent in many positions within the company have made Tanya an invaluable asset to the Taylor team. Outside of the office Tanya enjoys spending time with her family and reading books.

Project Manager

April, a native of the Pacific Northwest, began her career in 1997 working predominantly in commercial property management. In 2019, after covering for an employee who was on leave, she agreed to join the Taylor team as a member of the land entitlement and development group. April has utilized her talents in organization and attention to critical details, which allowed her to quickly move from project assistant to project manager. April's positive attitude, coupled with her no-nonsense approach to project management, provides Taylor, its consultants, contractors, and clients with the high-level, quality service that Taylor Development has been known for over the past three decades.

Property Manager

Bonnie joined Taylor Development in 2022. Bonnie has worked with predominant local development and property management companies since 1997. With her varied background in real estate and accounting, having worked on both the landlord and tenant side, she provides a unique perspective in managing existing properties slated for future redevelopment. Bonnie's emphasis is to provide excellent customer service and interactions with owners, tenants, and vendors on behalf of Taylor Development.
